About Project Management Framework

A project can never succeed without an organized team and project management framework. The framework of project management channelizes the team’s energy to achieve positive goals more efficiently. The professional project manager makes a framework which allows their teams to have a road map of the project from start to end. This road map is divided into three parts. These are project lifecycle, tools & templates, and project control cycle. A project manager can learn about all these methods in a Scrum master certification course where they’ll get the knowledge about these more thoroughly.

Types of PMP Framework

Scrum

Scrum methodology is an agile framework that helps the employees to accomplish success in solving the complicated tasks in a project. There are some major factors through which this methodology is carried out and some of these are mentioned below:

i) Sprint

In this, a project manager plans to work on a project by dividing tasks into smaller chunks to get small and efficient results. A project management team decides to continue this cycle for 3 to 4 weeks. A project manager has to be the scrum master to teach the team scrum methodologies and that can only happen if he/she will complete the Scrum master certification.

ii) Daily Scrum

In a daily scrum meeting, all the developers of the team discuss things to improve communication, decision making and to reduce the complexity of the project. All the team members do this stand-up meeting every day for 15 minutes. In a Scrum master certification, candidates go through all these drills that help them to train themselves to be well prepared to face all the problems.

iii) Product Backlog

While managing a project, it is important to make a list of the priorities of what work can be done first according to the requirements. Therefore, a PMP course is very important for the employees to understand “How to prioritize things to get successful results” that will help them to prepare for the PMP exam. The fees of this exam are not very expensive; the PMP exam cost for members is $405 and for non-members $555.

iv) Product Owner

The product owner is the person who manages the product backlog. Making the product backlog list and prioritizing the tasks is the responsibility of the product owner. Only those who have completed their Scrum master certification can attain that level of expertise.

v) Development Team

Developers are part of the team that works under the product owner. Managing a development team requires project management certification. To earn this certification, employees must complete the Project management course and the PMP exam cost is not very expensive as it is mentioned above.

vi) Sprint Review

After the sprint has been completed and its results have been achieved, the team will put it on hold and schedule an informal meeting to show the work to stakeholders and get their feedback. Because the training in the course teaches a team to get efficient results, a Scrum master certification can be very helpful to get the outcomes the team wishes for.

Kanban

This is also an agile method of project management, and it is to minimize multitasking and promote singular or fewer tasks at the specific given time. This methodology focuses on a board that can be a physical or digital tool. On this board the team makes a to-do list in which they decide which task should be done first, and that helps them to keep on track on their development stage. Candidates can master these methodologies if they have completed the Scrum master certification.

Scrumban

This methodology is the combined mixture for Scrum and Kanban. In this methodology a team can build the project by implementing the elements of different frameworks or methodologies. To understand this methodology, a candidate can get themselves enrolled in a Scrum master certification that would be very beneficial for them.

Lean

This methodology helps project management teams to improve their work and resource management, development by reducing waste. The five principles on which this methodology is based on are and which are taught in the Scrum master certification:

(1) Understanding values

(2) Recognized what is beneficial

(3) Value flow creation

(4) Pull Approach

(5) Consistent Improvement

Waterfall

This methodology is specially built for the software developments and is a traditional way to manage a project. There is a special segment in the Scrum master certification for this methodology in which all the candidates get to learn about the succeeding project planning and executing to get the successful results.
